Winter Goalie School

Director and lead coach, Mike Formichella, is recognized among the best goalie instructor in the area.  The Patriot Goalie School is a series of high intensity training sessions. The sessions are challenging and are a great tune up for the upcoming season. 

Overview

The Patriot Goalie School is a high-intensity, position-specific training program designed for goalies who want to reach the next level. 

Led by Director and Head Coach Mike Formichella, one of the area’s premier goalie instructors, and Coach Kate Struble, a coach at Montclair State University and Patriot Girls Goalie Coach, this program provides elite instruction for both boys and girls — from developing players to advanced goalies preparing for spring competition. 

Each one-hour session combines technical training, reaction work, footwork, positioning, clearing, and mental focus — all key components to becoming a consistent, confident goalie.
